How much is this going to Cost?
Rates
for our lodging at 2 Livingstone B&B - In order to encourage as
many people as possible to visit Zimbabwe we have kept the rates as
low as possible.
Rates paid in US dollars as required by
Zimbabwe Authorities
Zimbabwe Bed and Breakfast Inns rooms range from $65 to $75 per person
per night, which includes
- Private bedroom with on-suite baths
- Transfer to and from the Bulawayo Airport, or other place of arrival in the area
- Full breakfast (we accommodate any diet if you tell us ahead of time)
- Unlimited use of pool, tennis court, lounge library and game room
- Guided tours of downtown Bulawayo, shopping, restaurants, parks and museums
- Satellite internet available for a small charge
Tours of the surrounding attractions
will incur additional fees for guides, transportation, entrance
fees, etc.
Bulawayo offers a large number of nice restaurants, but if you desire Lunch and Dinner can be arranged for a minimum cost.
A 14 day vacation will cost
approximately $2,500 - $3,500 USD per person (does not include
airfare, but it does include pampering at all of the lodges). This
can vary depending on where you choose to stay in Zimbabwe and how
many souvenirs you buy.
Sample 14 day trip
- Day 1 & 2 Travel by air to Bulawayo
- Day 3 & 4 In Bulawayo to see the sights in town and
Matopos National Park (consider a night in one of the many
excellent Park area camps)
- Day 5 - 7 Go to Hwange National Park, staying at one of
the many lodges there depending on the experience you desire)
- Day 8 & 9 Go to Victoria Falls, and see the sights
- Day 10 & 11 Go to Masvingo to see the Great
Zimbabwe or stop at Gweru at Antelope park and walk with the lions
- Day 12 Bulawayo to shop for curios or relax and prepare
for return trip
- Day 13 Return to the rat race
